In the age of social media, we all put a lot of personal info on the internet; our holiday snaps on Instagram, our career details on LinkedIn, our weekend antics on Facebook and our opinions on Twitter. For some of us, every aspect of our lives can be found on one or more of these networks.
So, what if someone unexpected is watching, even cyberstalking? We’ve all heard a lot about employers or potential employers snooping about on these networks, but who else is digging around your Facebook? Potential partners checking you out perhaps, looking to see if your idea of a relaxed weekend or a fun night out are compatible.
This lady has certainly been doing that and now she finds herself in the awkward and potentially embarrassing position that she can’t remember what she discovered stalking online and what she learned in real life conversation.
